Ligia Lefkada: Ligia village in Lefkada, Greece, Ionian
Lefkada Ligia: There is little of note to the village of Ligia. A couple of garages, hotels, restaurants and some nice enough houses are pretty much all it contains. There is a small bay with a beach bar there. The view of the mainland is good though and you can look across to what remains of Aghios Georgios castle on the hillside. This area has a huge number of boats moored to its shore and the village itself has a reasonable sized harbour. The area towards the main town is interesting because of the magnificent
house gardens. Indeed they brim over with pink and purple flowers with many people having their own vines. This area also contains what remains of ‘Ancient Leukas’. A dirt road takes you to a fenced off field where you can see a few foundations.
